Caramel Peanut Butter Dip: Made with Yoplait yogurt, this is a delicious and fun twist for the kids heading back to school.
September is officially here! The kids are heading back to school, and fall is almost ready to make its debut. I remember how exciting this time of year was when I was a kid. Sure the summer was ending, and I was a little sad about that but I couldn’t wait to see all of my friends and ace all my classes (ha!).
Back then, we had a choice of buying our lunches or bringing them. At the time, I thought it was more attractive to have hot lunch at school because who wanted a cold sandwich and terrible snack? I surely didn’t. I totally wish that I could have made this cool Yoplait Caramel Peanut Butter Dip and eaten it with apple slices back in the day. To make up for lost time, I’ve made a treat that reminds me of the best back to school snacks that adults will absolutely enjoy too!
This Caramel Peanut Butter Dip is so fun and easy to make. I started with Yoplait’s Original in French Vanilla. Yoplait Original contains 6 grams of protein, which is the perfect base to fuel my family this back-to-school.
I decided to hack the Yoplait Original for an exciting, protein-filled fall twist. I always love caramel apples this time of year so I added a swirl of store bought caramel to the top of the Yogurt. A sprinkle of sea salt over the caramel added a sophisticated touch, and I also added a dollop of peanut butter to plus up the recipe with some additional healthy protein! Serve these babies with some pre-cut apple slices and get ready to dip your apples into something sweet and delicious.
This is a treat the entire family will love. I know this will become a favorite all autumn long. It definitely has become a hit in my family.
