My Pillsbury Bake-Off Correspondent Experience

My feet are just now touching the ground after my pillsbury bake-off correspondent experience in Las Vegas last weekend!  It was amazing! From informative seminars about food trends to delicious dinners overlooking the Vegas strip, I had an unforgettable time.

The day of the bake-off was definitely the most rewarding.  The finalists had some of the most inventive and tasty recipes ever!  I have no idea how the judges make decisions on who wins the ultimate prize of 1 million dollars.  Let’s just say this year, they definitely had their work cut out for them.

Once the finalists hit the floor in grand fashion with a musical march, I had the chance to go on the floor and speak to them about their dishes.  I loved speaking with the two mother daughter duos this year. Check out my Pillsbury Blog Post about that .  I also LOVED sampling the finalists dishes.  They were absolutely delicious.

The evening was a real treat as we found out who the winners of the bake-off were with host Padma Lakshmi of “Top Chef” who hosted the awards dinner.  The winning dish is something I will definitely be making for Thanksgiving.  It is the perfect appetizer and so simple to make yet so delish!  I could not get enough.

I loved sharing my first Pillsbury Bake Off Correspondent experience and hope to share again next year in Nashville!  I wonder who will take home the big prize then!!  Congrats to Glori Spriggs and all of the finalists!!  And if you want to make all of the recipes like I do, you can check out the recipes !

    It was such a fun (and whirlwind) weekend and so happy we finally got to meet! Loved this recap and it put me right back there – and into that amazingly huge kitchen with all those delish smells!
