Christmas Chip Cookies

Though I love super exciting cookie combinations, sometimes cookies don’t need to be complicated. Sometimes they just need to be delicious with no extra fluff thrown their way.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter 2 sticks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 10 ounces Nestle Toll House Holiday Morsels

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients
  • Stir in the holiday morsels
  • With your fingers, place golf ball-sized dough sections 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or just until edges are light brown.
