The official blogger tour celebrating the Grandbaby Cakes cookbook launch featuring the best food bloggers online. See all the amazing cakes they baked!

Today is officially the day, and I seriously cannot contain my excitement.  So I’m celebrating with a big blowout blogger tour!

One year ago, I was furiously writing chapters of my book, slaving away in the kitchen testing and photographing to my witโ€™s end.  Today, all of the love and work that went into Grandbaby Cakes can now be felt by so many because the book is officially out!

I'll email this recipe to you, so you can come back to it later!

I secretly couldnโ€™t wait for today but also was beyond nervous for this day to come.  My heart and soul is on every page of that book.  My vulnerability is laid out in every printed word, and more than anything, I have shared with you the most important thing in the world to me, my family.  So I basically consider you family now too.

I want to thank you for letting me share myself with you, and I seriously want to thank you for the love and support I have felt since the book started releasing a bit early.  I felt like I was receiving a hug from people across this nation and that truly warmed my spirit.  (And if you want to get in on the fun, make sure you share your love and creations from the book using the hashtag #GrandbabyCakesBook!!

So to celebrate the release, a bunch of my amazing blogger friends and favorite brands are partying with me.  For the next three weeks, we will all be hosting the Grandbaby Cakes Cookbook Blogger Tour Cake Walk (basically a blogger tour) which will end in some stellar giveaways!  The bloggers will be sharing exclusive recipes from the book along with family love and some will be adding their own twist which I canโ€™t wait to see!  Make sure you check out all of my amazing blogger friendsโ€™ posts and enter the contest below.

  1. Thank you! Thank you for sharing these lovely recipes with us. I love to cook and bake. Baking for me came about out of desire to have something sweet in our house. My mom was not a baker and didn’t like to buy us sweets. It took me several years before I actually dove into baking on a deeper level. So when I came across a picture of your dreamsicle trifle I said to myself I must find how to make that beauty dessert! And that search led me to the discovery of your book, which is now one of the best cookbook purchases I have made. I have tried the red velvet cake with blackberry cream cheese frosting, the pineapple upside down hummingbird cake (YUM) and now the roasted raspberry cupcakes (WOW). Straining the seeds from the raspberries was a bit of work lol but it was well worth it!

  2. Hi I am very excited about your site. i also love to cook. My daughter in laws Birthday is coming up and I want to ,ake her your carmel cake Would you email me the reciepe. Her Birthday is March 14th. Just till I can buy your cook book.
    Thank you. Sue Johnson

  3. Ohh that carmel cake! I made it for my cousin’s celebration for his promotion and he cried when he 1st saw it. Then when he finally got through crying he tasted it and started balling. He left the room bc he was just overwhelmed w joy! My grandmother took her caramel cake to heaven w/ her. But, your recipe is a special delivery from Granny. and the title of your site confirms that…thank you & God bless you!
