The official blogger tour celebrating the Grandbaby Cakes cookbook launch featuring the best food bloggers online. See all the amazing cakes they baked!

Today is officially the day, and I seriously cannot contain my excitement.  So I’m celebrating with a big blowout blogger tour!

One year ago, I was furiously writing chapters of my book, slaving away in the kitchen testing and photographing to my witโ€™s end.  Today, all of the love and work that went into Grandbaby Cakes can now be felt by so many because the book is officially out!

Want to Save This Recipe, Boo?

I'll email this recipe to you, so you can come back to it later!

I secretly couldnโ€™t wait for today but also was beyond nervous for this day to come.  My heart and soul is on every page of that book.  My vulnerability is laid out in every printed word, and more than anything, I have shared with you the most important thing in the world to me, my family.  So I basically consider you family now too.

I want to thank you for letting me share myself with you, and I seriously want to thank you for the love and support I have felt since the book started releasing a bit early.  I felt like I was receiving a hug from people across this nation and that truly warmed my spirit.  (And if you want to get in on the fun, make sure you share your love and creations from the book using the hashtag #GrandbabyCakesBook!!

So to celebrate the release, a bunch of my amazing blogger friends and favorite brands are partying with me.  For the next three weeks, we will all be hosting the Grandbaby Cakes Cookbook Blogger Tour Cake Walk (basically a blogger tour) which will end in some stellar giveaways!  The bloggers will be sharing exclusive recipes from the book along with family love and some will be adding their own twist which I canโ€™t wait to see!  Make sure you check out all of my amazing blogger friendsโ€™ posts and enter the contest below.

  1. I love how many bloggers rave so much about your book. What a gem! After I saw Alice’s (HipFoodieMom) post, I am definitely starting with the 7-Up cake. I immediately thought of making this for my family. You.Are.Special!

  2. We love Aunt Gert Rolls! It’s a yeast roll recipe handed down from my great treat aunt. Thank you for the chance to win!

  3. I’m from Louisiana and our favorite family recipes is Bread Pudding, sometimes I add chocolate chips(Kids) or bourbon(adults). YUMMY!

    1. Sorry, I forgot our favorite recipe was German Chocolate Cake. We made them at Thanksgiving and had enough to last all year long. So thankful we had a large freezer.

  4. I couldn’t remember if I left a post or not. But our favorite recipe is just a plain chocolate cake a recipe my mom gave me over 40 years ago and still a favorite.

  5. Our family’s all time favorite dessert is the Mississippi Mudslide Cake. The interesting thing is that for generations we’ve made it in 13 x 9 inch pan, but your version is so beautiful and more elegant and tasty that we’ve changed everything about the way we make it. Thank you so much.

  6. You have so many delicious recipes in this cookbook! I swear you must have been hiding in my granny’s kitchen while she was cooking. So many of your desserts remind me of her. May God Bless You indeed!
