The official blogger tour celebrating the Grandbaby Cakes cookbook launch featuring the best food bloggers online. See all the amazing cakes they baked!
Today is officially the day, and I seriously cannot contain my excitement. So I’m celebrating with a big blowout blogger tour!
One year ago, I was furiously writing chapters of my book, slaving away in the kitchen testing and photographing to my witโs end. Today, all of the love and work that went into Grandbaby Cakes can now be felt by so many because the book is officially out!
Want to Save This Recipe, Boo?
I secretly couldnโt wait for today but also was beyond nervous for this day to come. My heart and soul is on every page of that book. My vulnerability is laid out in every printed word, and more than anything, I have shared with you the most important thing in the world to me, my family. So I basically consider you family now too.
I want to thank you for letting me share myself with you, and I seriously want to thank you for the love and support I have felt since the book started releasing a bit early. I felt like I was receiving a hug from people across this nation and that truly warmed my spirit. (And if you want to get in on the fun, make sure you share your love and creations from the book using the hashtag #GrandbabyCakesBook!!
So to celebrate the release, a bunch of my amazing blogger friends and favorite brands are partying with me. For the next three weeks, we will all be hosting the Grandbaby Cakes Cookbook Blogger Tour Cake Walk (basically a blogger tour) which will end in some stellar giveaways! The bloggers will be sharing exclusive recipes from the book along with family love and some will be adding their own twist which I canโt wait to see! Make sure you check out all of my amazing blogger friendsโ posts and enter the contest below.

Our favorite family recipe is a lasagna recipe I developed when ;my kids were young, about 30 years ago.
My grandmother’s Italian Creme cake
Just found your blog from She Wears Many Hats. Your cookbook looks amazing!!!
One of my favorite recipes is for Sherry Wine Cake. The name almost killed me ever trying this cake in the first place. I thought YUCK but boy am I ever glad I sampled this when a co-worker brought this to a work party back in 1977! I’ve been making it ever since and everyone who tries it loves it also.
Delightful!
Your book looks wonderful! My favorite family recipe is for chocolate cream pie. I loved it so much as a kid that I asked for it in place of a cake for my birthday. Maybe here I’ll be able to find some cakes that will be good enough to reclaim the glory of birthday cakes, though ๐
My family’s seven (or whatever) layer bars are our favorite–always the first thing we make on vacation.
your book looks incredible! i LOVE baking cakes, and my favorite family recipe is, in fact, a cake recipe: italian cream cake (aka italian wedding cake). it was one of the recipes i used for the cakes that i made for my wedding in may!
I love your recipes and your recipes bring smiles all around the table. Thanks for helping us have such yummy treats.
A week before my mom past away she showed me how to make her favorite merenguen with coconut, the smell all over the house was amazing.
