Grammie's meatloaf submitted by Julie Bair

My Grammie was the anchor to our family. Whenever we went to her house she would cook whatever we wanted, which was typically her meat loaf.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 15-20 zesta crackers
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Splash of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • Parmesan cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325.
  • Combine all ingredients except for tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese. Mix in large bowl.
  • Put in loaf form, either in a meatloaf pan, or 13x9 inch pan.
  • Top with tomato sauce and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake in oven for 1 hour 30 minutes. Serve with mash potatoes and corn.
