Ingredients

  • ¼ cup paprika
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a small bowl. Whisk until combined.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over your turkey, as well as under the skin, then cook as desired.

Notes

This homemade rub for turkey should be stored in an airtight container and kept in a cool, dry place for 6-12 months. You can use this homemade turkey rub recipe to add life to just about any cut of poultry, steak, or pork!
