Whether it’s a bridal shower, church luncheon, family reunion or any get together of all kinds, my Sherbet Punch Recipe is the perfect beverage to serve. It can be served with or without alcohol (sherbet punch), depending on the occasion, location and the type of guests.
The first time I had a sherbet punch was for my very special bridal shower. I was surrounded by my closest friends and family members who made me feel beyond loved. And let me tell you, these ladies can have a good time.
Ingredients
Typical rainbow sherbet punches only have a few key ingredients such as the following:
- Sherbet
- Lemonade
- Limeade
- Soda
- Confectioner’s Sugar
- Various fruits
- Alcohol (optional)
For the Sherbet, it is best to use rainbow so you have a ton of wonderful flavors floating around however you can totally just use one single flavor like orange, raspberry or lime.
For most sherbet punches, using the lemonade and limeade concentrate is best because it is packed with intense flavor and super cold right out of the freezer so you don’t have to add ice to your drink. It stays cold on its own.
The carbonation of the soda is what makes the punch even better which is why I add it. I also add various fruit for more flavor and the beauty. It makes it look just gorgeous!!! Perfect for entertaining!
How to Make Sherbet Punch
This is such a fun hack and twist on a traditional punch. The elements of the punch are similar to that of classic punches with the additions of pink lemonade, concentrate, lemon lime soda and pineapple juice but it gets super fun and different with the addition of alcohol and gorgeous scoops of colorful sherbet swirling about in the punch bowl.
Add all of the ingredients together and allow them to truly mix perfectly.
Tip: You can also make all of the ingredients come together in a theme that works best for you.
It is such a super cute drink too. I love the bright pink color of the punch, and the beautiful colors of sherbet swirling through the punch take it up a notch. This would be perfect for serving at any bridal shower this summer. I can guarantee a good time had by all, especially the bride.
How to Store
- Airtight Container: Pour the frappe punch into an airtight container. This helps to keep out air and contaminants that could spoil the punch or alter its taste.
- Refrigeration: Store the container in the refrigerator. Frappe punch should be kept cold to maintain its freshness and prevent any potential bacterial growth.
- Short Storage Duration: Itโs best to consume frappe punch within 1-2 days of making it. The ingredients can separate over time, and the freshness of the punch can start to decline.
- Stir Before Serving: If the punch has been sitting in the refrigerator, give it a good stir before serving to ensure all the ingredients are well combined.
- Avoid Freezing: While you might be tempted to freeze frappe punch to extend its shelf life, this can affect the texture and flavor of the drink. It’s best enjoyed fresh.

If I got remarried again today I’d do SO MANY things differently. ALL of them, actually, except my dress, the groom, and the place. ๐ I love this punch!
There was no punch at my bridal shower. Now I feel deprived.
