The Heart and Soul of this Tropical Smoothie Recipe

Cuisine Inspiration: Caribbean Island vibes.

Primary Cooking Method: Blending

Dietary Info: It’s vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free (just be sure your oats are certified GF).

Key Flavor: Bursting with the sunny sweetness of pineapple, berry deliciousness and the creamy caress of coconut

Skill Level: Easy

Sweet Highlights:

  • Vitamin C Vibes: With orange juice and pineapple, this smoothie isn’t just a treat for your taste buds—it’s a high-five for your health.
  • Creamy Coconut Dream: Coconut yogurt turns every sip into a creamy wave of flavor that’ll transport you to the tropics.
  • Banana Boost: Frozen banana adds a naturally sweet thickness that makes this smoothie a satisfying snack or a delightful light meal.
  • Berrylicious Bliss: Strawberries bring a pop of color and a tangy twist, balancing the tropical sweetness to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Get zesty with orange juice for that citrusy kick-off.
  • Double up the creamy delight with both vanilla and coconut yogurt.
  • Toss in a chill factor with frozen pineapple – the more the merrier for that tropical tang.
  • Slide in some frozen banana to thicken up the mix with natural sweetness.
  • Drizzle in some honey for that smooth, golden sweetness.
  • A dash of vanilla because, hey, it’s the little things that count.
  • Berry-ify it with a handful of frozen strawberries for that cool berry blast.

How to Make a Tropical Smoothie

  • In a blender combine orange juice, both yogurts, pineapple, banana, honey and vanilla. Cover and blend until nearly smooth.
  • Remove half of the smoothie and add strawberries to blender.  Blend until smooth then alternate adding the two smoothie fillings to glass and serve.

How to Store

For that just-blended freshness, sip your Tropical Smoothie right away. If you need to store any leftovers, pour the excess into an airtight container and stash it in the freezer. When you’re ready for reserve, let it thaw slightly, give it a good stir or a quick whirl in the blender, and enjoy.
