I know quite a bit about figs.  My big mama has the most luscious fig tree in her backyard in Mississippi so I adore whenever I can get my hands on some.  Since fig season ends so soon, I thought that a mojito celebrating the season with the flavors of maple to highlight fall would be lovely.  And I was right.

How to Store

A fig mojito is best enjoyed fresh, but if you need to store it, keep the mixture without the ice in the refrigerator for up to a day. Add ice and club soda just before serving to keep the fizz alive and the flavors vibrant.
