7 Up Biscuits Ingredients
- Bisquick: This pre-made mixture of flour, salt, baking powder and shortening cuts down on our ingredient list. Swap in a gluten-free biscuit mix to make this perfect for anyone with gluten sensitivities. The texture may change slightly.
- 7 Up: The carbonation basically adds air to the biscuits developing the best light and fluffy texture. Go with another lemon lime soda of your choice like Sprite. It all works just as well.
- Sour Cream: Swap in some plain greek yogurt.
- Melted Butter: Salted or unsalted is fine here.

Recipe help
Add more bisquick to the mix until you get a nice consistency. Just a little at a time.
Yep you know it! You can make the dough then cut the rounds out and freeze before you bake them off!
This reminds me of the cake I used to make with cherry cola. One can of cherry cola and one box of chocolate cake mix. That’s it, nothing else! Bake according to directions on cake mix box. You can also make a glaze with more cola and 10X sugar.
Delicious!
