Sugar Cookie Martini

My little boos can stick with my classic sugar cookies or chocolate sugar cookies, but for the adults? This sugar cookie martini is how we’re sippin’ into Christmas! It tastes just like a cookie fresh out of the oven, y’all. It’s made with vanilla vodka, Irish cream, and white chocolate liqueur. The flavor is creamy and sweet but not too sugary or strong. It just has a nice little boozy kick. The best part of this sugar cookie martini is the frosted rim coated in sugar pearls. I’m obsessed!

1. Frost and rim the glasses

Two martini glasses with sugar pearls around the rims

Spread a thin layer of whipped vanilla frosting around the rims of the martini glasses, then dip them into sugar pearls to coat.

2. Shake the Martini

Add milk, Irish cream, vodka, and amaretto to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into the prepared glasses and serve.

PRO TIP: Pop your martini glasses in the fridge for 10-15 minutes before you frost them. The cold helps the frosting set up so it doesn’t melt when you pour in the drink.

How to Store

  • Fridge: Pour your sugar cookie martini into a jar or airtight container and keep it in the fridge for up to 2 days. But let me be real with you, boo… even when I make a big pitcher of this cocktail, I never have leftovers, so consider this a just in case. Give it a good shake before serving so it’s smooth again.

Recipe Tips

  1. Start with good ingredients. Use a solid vanilla vodka and a white chocolate liqueur you actually like because that’s where all the flavor comes from.
  2. Shake it like you mean it! A strong shake with plenty of ice will make your sugar cookie drink cold and smooth.
  3. Don’t fill the glass to the top. Leave some space so your sprinkles stay cute and don’t melt into the drink right away.
  4. Have fun decorating the rim! I’m using sugar pearls because they remind me of little snowballs and Christmas, but you can use classic rainbow sprinkles, white sanding sugar, or festive red and green sprinkles too.

Recipe Help

What can I use if I don’t have a cocktail shaker?

A mason jar with a lid works great, or any jar that seals tight. Just shake it like you would a regular shaker and you’re set.
